Cozy, unpretentious, remarkable view and beach isn't crowded. No steps down to beach, rocks and boulders are challenging. Not quite handicapped accessible. 2nd floor needs double hand rails. Grab bars needed in shower. Do-able with a cane though. No washer/dryer so plan accordingly. Comfy beds. We had a marvelous time and it is close to some very good eateries. We loved it and would stay again.

My husband and I recently stayed here for our anniversary, it was absolutely perfect. Loved how clean and new everything is. The views are spectacular. Having the ability to cook or go to a cute restaurant close by was wonderful. Management is very easy to work with. And helpful when needed. Will be staying here again.

Spent my 2 year anniversary here. I was surprised by the beautiful view at the inn. The moon kissed the ocean and with the windows open, we fell asleep to the sound of the waves crashing. The accommodations were enough for about 6 people but we had no complaints. It was perfect. The local pubs had great happy hours which made seeing the town at night worth it. I reccommend a stay at this place. Loved it and can't wait to return.

4th time I’ve stayed here and absolutely love it! Great view of the beach from any of the condos. Crabbing a five minute drive away and walking distance for food, bars and everything in Rockaway! The owners are very responsive and super kind! Highly recommended

The Whale Watcher Inn was above our expectations and made for a wonderful week at the Oregon Coast. The check-in at the neighboring Sea Treasure was easy and the staff was incredibly friendly. They told us all of the rooms at the Whale Watcher had been recently remodeled. They looked and felt like was just done! The room we stayed in had a full kitchen. Full stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer and cabinets for our food. Everything was sparkling new! The bedrooms were very comfortable and better than other coastal hotels. We slept great after some beach combing and visiting the Sand Dollar for dinner and drinks. The views are remarkable. I felt like we were right on the beach...because we were! It was comfortable enough to sit outside for coffee and wine on the deck overlooking the beach and ocean. Almost everything we needed was within walking distance. It was our favorite stay for our Highway 101 adventure.

My husband and I wanted a relaxing getaway at the beach and decided on the Whale Watcher Inn. We were so happy we did! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the breathtaking view of the waves crashing on the beach. The view from our unit was amazing. Everything in the unit has been updated and is very cozy. Everything was clean upon our arrival and the unit was equipped with everything needed for our comfort. The Inn is walking distance to several restaurants, a bakery, an ice cream shop and coffee shop. The weather was great for an evening fire on the beach and we were able to enjoy one just a short distance from the room. Overall a very nice place for a getaway. We will definitely be back soon for another stay!

My recent visit to the inn was unforgettable. The exterior has that beach house vibe that I love. The interior was newly renovated when I made my visit down to Rockaway, and it looked beautiful. It was furnished with very nice furniture and the overall interior design had a modern style. Needless to say, it made my stay very comfortable. More importantly, the view was gorgeous. This inn sits literally right on the shores of the water, so the view was stunning. I was able to run out to the sand whenever I wanted to. If you want a place to stay that is clean, with a modern interior with a gorgeous view, this is the place to book.

Great location. There is a big deck looking out onto the ocean, yet with light-blocking curtains for sleeping. The place was clean (broom onsite for cleaning up after sandy feet). The bed in the bedroom was comfortable. Heat worked great. Shower was hot with good pressure. However, not sure how often they clean the bedding for the foldaway in the living room. Definitely would recommend.
